Injections

An injection is a process by which a small area of the skin is pierced or punctured with a syringe and needle to administer medication.  Injections can be administered by several methods intravenously, intramuscularly, intrademally or subcutaneously.  The method of injection used depends on the health problem they are being administered for.

At our office we use injections to administer vaccinations, vitamin shots, antibiotics and fluids.
